Hi, I'm Sharat.

I’m Sharat. I started writing software when I was 10 and never stopped—kernel modules, distributed systems, and most things in between. I write here about engineering judgment, AI-assisted development, and how teams actually ship.

When I’m not spending time with my family or building software, I’m usually rabbit-holing through the history of software, computers, math, science, and culture. Ask me for trivia on any topic.

I currently work at Evocalize as a Founding Principal Engineer, previously at AWS and Amazon.
